Eartheffect originally developed the concept for the retirement centers of the city of Zurich, which have benefited from the workshops on various levels in recent years. The employees learn new things about energy, climate change, resource scarcity and think about improvements in their own working environment in a playful way and in exchange with each other.
The participants very much appreciate the fact that they can develop their own ideas in the workshop and, for once, are active beyond their usual area of work. They discuss opportunities across departments and hierarchies and exchange ideas at eye level. This is perceived as appreciative and has a team-integrating effect.
Around 85% of the participants said that they would also like to implement the measures developed in the workshop. Most of these measures relate to resource-efficient work and adjustments in processes, work equipment or offerings, which helps the environment and can reduce costs.
Our workshops follow the following structure and principles:
Development can only be sustainable if we support it together. That is why our workshops involve as wide a range of staff as possible in the planning and implementation of sustainability strategies.
