We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) and - where applicable - the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Principles:
- processing in good faith, proportionate and for a specific purpose,
- transparency for data subjects,
- use of appropriate technical and organizational measures for data security.
3.1 Hosting & infrastructure
Our websites(www.eartheffect.ch, www.future-perfect.ch, www.ecogastro.org) are operated via Webflow, based on the infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the CDN of Amazon CloudFront/Fastly. Domains are hosted by Infomaniak (CH).
Technical data such as IP address, browser type, access time and pages visited are processed automatically. This data is used for the operation, security and optimization of our websites.
3.2 Cookies & Tracking
We use Google Analytics to evaluate the use of our websites. Information about your user behavior (e.g. pages viewed, duration of the session, location) may also be transmitted by Google to the USA.
3.3 Contact forms
Data entered via contact forms (e.g. name, email, message) is processed to handle the request.
4.1 Newsletter
We currently use Sendinblue (Brevio) and vtiger CRM for newsletters. Email addresses and voluntary information (e.g. name) are processed in order to send information about our offers and projects.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by email.
4.2 Business communication
We use Microsoft Teams and email for customer and project communication. Metadata (e.g. time of communication, sender, recipient) and content data can be processed.
5.1 CRM & accounting
We currently store customer data in vtiger (hosted by Infomaniak, Switzerland) and will manage it via Bexio (incl. add-ons) in the future. processed data: Names, addresses, contact data, communication content, contract data.
5.2 Project and collaboration tools
We use Asana for project management. In particular, contact data and project-related notes are stored. Data may be transferred to the USA.
5.3 Cloud storage
Our internal cloud is based on Seafile (server location Switzerland). Microsoft 365 and Google Drive are also used in some cases.
We operate learning platforms on Moodle. The following data is processed as standard:
- master data (name, e-mail, user name),
- login data, course data (e.g. modules completed, learning progress),
- interactions within the platform.
Hosting is provided by our IT partner Oetiker + Partner AG (Olten, Switzerland). Oetiker + Partner is contractually obliged to process the data exclusively on behalf of Eartheffect and to implement appropriate security measures.
We only pass on personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our services or if there is a legal basis for doing so.
Data is only transferred to third countries (e.g. USA for AWS, Google, Microsoft, Asana) if:
- an adequacy decision by the Federal Council or the EU Commission exists, or
- suitable guarantees (e.g. standard contractual clauses) exist.
We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and other risks. These include encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls and regular backups.
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for as long as there are statutory retention obligations.
According to the FADP and - where applicable - the GDPR, data subjects have the right in particular to:
- information on whether and which data we process,
- rectification of incorrect data,
- erasure of data, provided there are no legal obligations to the contrary,
- restriction of processing,
- disclosure/transfer of data (data portability),
- objection to processing (where permitted).
